Prayer time settings for Uganda
The prayer time settings for Uganda define the calculation options available when viewing Salah and prayer times for locations in Uganda. These settings control how Fajr, sunrise, Zohar, Asar, Magrib and Isha are calculated, and they help keep the displayed timetable consistent for towns and cities across the country.
By default, Uganda prayer times use the Muslim World League prayer method, the None high latitude method and the Shafi Asar method. You can keep these defaults for a standard timetable, or choose another supported option on individual prayer time pages when a different local convention is needed.

The default settings shown on this page are applied automatically when you open a prayer timetable for Uganda, so most visitors can view times without changing anything.
If you need to compare methods, open a location in Uganda and adjust the settings on the prayer times page. The timetable will update using the selected method while keeping the country-supported options listed here. This makes it easier to check how Fajr, Isha or Asar may differ before printing, downloading or sharing prayer times.
